Google Ads Cost in the Philippines: 2026 Budget and CPC Guide
Google Ads in the Philippines has no fixed price: you set your own budget and pay per click, and the cost per click depends on your industry, competition, targeting and ad quality. Most Philippine SMEs start with ₱20,000 to ₱30,000 a month in Search ad spend, plus ₱15,000 to ₱80,000+ a month (or 15% to 25% of spend) if an agency manages the account.
This 2026 guide explains how Google Ads bidding works, what moves your cost per click, how to estimate costs for your own keywords, and what typical budgets look like for different Philippine businesses.

How Google Ads bidding works
Every time someone searches, Google runs an auction among advertisers bidding on matching keywords. Google decides which ads show and in what order using Ad Rank. According to Google's Ad Rank help page, Ad Rank considers:
- Your bid
- The quality of your ads and landing page
- Ad Rank thresholds
- The competitiveness of the auction
- The context of the search, such as location, device and search terms
- The expected impact of assets such as sitelinks and call buttons
Google notes that you can win a higher position at a lower price by using highly relevant keywords and ads. In practice, a well-structured account with relevant ads and a strong landing page can pay less per click than a competitor bidding more.
Quality Score
Google reports a Quality Score from 1 to 10 for each keyword, based on expected click-through rate, ad relevance and landing page experience. Google describes it as a diagnostic tool rather than an auction input, so use it to find which ads, keywords or landing pages to improve.
Daily budgets and monthly spend
You set an average daily budget per campaign. Google says a campaign may spend up to twice the average daily budget on a given day, but over a month it will spend no more than 30.4 times the average daily budget. To set a budget from a monthly figure, divide by 30.4. A ₱30,000 monthly plan becomes an average daily budget of about ₱987.
What drives cost per click in the Philippines
- Industry: keywords where a single customer is worth a lot, such as condominiums, personal loans, insurance, dental implants and legal services, attract more bidders and higher CPCs.
- Competition: the number of advertisers bidding on the same keyword in your area. A popular term in Makati or BGC can cost more than the same term targeted to a provincial city.
- Quality and relevance: ads that match the search and lead to a relevant, fast page tend to need lower bids for the same position.
- Location and radius: Metro Manila, Cebu and Davao targeting each have their own level of competition.
- Keyword intent: "dentist near me open now" carries buying intent and usually costs more than research terms like "how to whiten teeth".
- Match types and negatives: broad targeting without negative keywords can spend budget on irrelevant searches.
- Time and device: schedules and device settings change which auctions you enter.
Global benchmarks for reference
Published benchmarks are useful for comparing industries, but they are not Philippine prices. The LocaliQ 2026 Search Advertising Benchmarks, based on its customers' Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns, report an all-industry average CPC of US$5.42, a click-through rate of 6.64%, a conversion rate of 8.18% and a cost per lead of US$66.69. The report does not state a geographic scope, and Philippine CPCs can differ considerably, so treat these as relative guides.
| Industry (LocaliQ 2026) | Average CPC | Average cost per lead |
|---|---|---|
| Attorneys and legal services | US$9.87 | US$131.63 |
| Home and home improvement | US$8.33 | US$90.92 |
| Dentists and dental services | US$8.00 | US$72.97 |
| Business services | US$5.87 | US$93.69 |
| Education and instruction | US$4.81 | US$77.48 |
| Beauty and personal care | US$4.62 | US$39.25 |
| Real estate | US$3.22 | US$102.51 |
| Restaurants and food | US$2.05 | US$30.57 |
The useful takeaway is the ranking: legal, dental and home services sit near the top for CPC, while restaurants and travel sit near the bottom. Real estate shows a modest CPC but a high cost per lead, which reflects how many clicks it takes to get an inquiry.
How to estimate your own Google Ads cost
The most reliable way to price Google Ads for your business is Google Keyword Planner, which is free inside a Google Ads account. It shows estimated monthly searches for each keyword, the average cost to show your ad, and a forecast of clicks and conversions for a given budget.
- Enter your main services and products, and set the location to your target area, such as Metro Manila or Cebu.
- Shortlist keywords with clear buying intent and note the bid estimates.
- Use the forecast to see how many clicks a monthly budget can buy.
- Apply your website's conversion rate (or a conservative assumption) to estimate leads.
- Divide budget by expected leads to get an estimated cost per lead, then compare it with the value of a customer.
Example method: if your forecast shows a ₱30,000 budget buys a certain number of clicks and 5% of visitors inquire, multiply clicks by 0.05 for expected leads. The figures come from your own forecast, not a published average.
