How clients look for a lawyer in the Philippines
Most people who need a lawyer start with a search, often on a phone and often in private. A spouse researching annulment, a founder registering a corporation, an OFW family settling an estate or an HR manager facing a labor case will type their question into Google first, then look at a few firm websites before they call or send a message.
What they look for is reassurance: a firm that clearly handles their kind of matter, lawyers with verifiable credentials, an office location they can reach in Makati, BGC, Ortigas, Quezon City, Cebu or Davao, and a simple way to make contact. Corporate clients add another step and check the firm's LinkedIn presence and published articles before shortlisting. Law firm marketing in the Philippines works best when it meets each of these needs with accurate, helpful information.
Searches are also bilingual. Clients mix English legal terms with Filipino, so a person may search for "abogado for annulment" or "how to file small claims" rather than formal legal phrasing. We map these real queries to the right practice pages so the firm is found by the words clients actually use, while every page keeps the formal, dignified tone the profession expects.
Channels that work for law firms
We focus on channels where clients are already searching for answers, and on content that informs rather than sells.
Law firm SEO by practice area
Dedicated pages for each practice area and location, such as family law in Quezon City or corporate law in BGC, built around the searches clients actually type. We handle technical SEO, Google Business Profile, legal directory listings and internal linking so each page can rank. See our SEO services.
Law firm web design
A clean, fast, mobile-first website with lawyer profiles, practice-area pages, office details and a secure inquiry form. Our web design and development team builds for credibility and for easy contact on a phone.
Practice-area content
Plain-language guides on common legal questions, written with your lawyers and reviewed by them before publishing. Content of this kind is the most effective way to be found and to show competence without self-praise.
Search ads for specific matters
Google Ads that appear only for focused searches, such as a corporate registration lawyer in Makati, with factual ad copy that names your services and location. Read more on our paid ads page.
Google Business Profile and directories
An accurate profile for each office with practice areas, hours and contact details, plus consistent listings in reputable legal and business directories. These help the firm appear in map results when clients search near Makati, Ortigas or their own city.
LinkedIn for corporate practice
Thought leadership from your partners on regulatory updates, tax, labor and commercial topics, aimed at in-house counsel and business owners.
CPRA advertising rules we follow
The Supreme Court's Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability (A.M. No. 22-09-01-SC, approved in 2023) sets clear limits on how lawyers may advertise. Every page, post and ad we prepare for a law firm is built to fit them. Your firm remains responsible for its own compliance, and we plan the work with your partners' sign-off.
Factual, verifiable information
Canon II, Section 17 bars lawyers from soliciting legal business directly or indirectly and allows advertising that is dignified and limited to verifiable facts such as biographical data, contact details, fields of practice and services offered. Our copy sticks to these.
No self-laudatory claims
The same section states that permissible advertising may never be self-laudatory. We do not write "best lawyer" claims, client testimonials, case win rates or promises of outcome. Profiles describe education, admissions and practice areas instead.
No paid publicity or awards
Section 17 also prohibits paying media practitioners, award-giving bodies or similar groups for publicity meant to attract clients. We do not arrange paid features, sponsored rankings or award placements for law firms.
Careful social media use
Canon II, Sections 36 to 40 cover lawyers' social media: posts must protect the dignity of the profession, avoid false or unverified statements and never disclose confidential client information. Section 18 adds that lawyers should not use concluded cases for self-promotion, so we never feature client matters.
Private inquiry handling
Inquiry forms collect only what the firm needs to run a conflict check and respond, with a privacy notice that reflects the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

How we measure success for law firms
Reports focus on qualified inquiries rather than traffic alone.
- Inquiries by practice area, from forms, calls and messages, tracked in web analytics
- Rankings and clicks for priority practice-area and location searches
- Google Business Profile calls, direction requests and website visits
- Share of inquiries that pass the conflict check and become consultations
- Cost per qualified inquiry from paid search

What does law firm SEO in the Philippines involve?
Practice-area and location pages, technical fixes, a complete Google Business Profile, directory listings and helpful legal content, so your firm appears when clients search for their specific legal concern.

We do not include them. The CPRA bars self-laudatory advertising and lawyers using concluded cases for self-promotion, so we build trust through lawyer profiles, practice-area explanations and educational content.

What should a law firm website include?
Lawyer profiles with admissions and education, one page per practice area, office locations, a mobile-friendly inquiry form with a privacy notice, and plain-language articles on common legal questions.
